Need a Julep recipe? Official Woodford Reserve Mint Julep

Official Woodford Reserve Mint Julep ~ courtesy of KentuckyDerby.com
Here it is ~ the official recipe of the traditional cocktail of the KY Derby.

And this year is Secretariat's 50th Anniversary of winning the first race of the Triple Crown. So grab that collector's bottle honoring the GREAT Secretariat as well.
Also, if you are born, bred, raised, or lived in Kentucky, then we all swear by the Maker's Mark Bourbon vs. Woodford Reserve.

However, it is up to you all, your palate, and tradition. Both are very good.
So without further delay...
Here is the Official recipe using Woodford Reserve.
Substitute with Maker's Mark if you prefer. Either one is perfect.

Enjoy the races, horses, and your Juleps!

May they all race safely.
