Breeders Cup ~50 days until Lexington 2022
ANNNNNND they're off ~
After having to wait for the Covid flu to fizzle out, we now can have a crowd of enthusiastic fans coming to Lexington.
Two years ago the Breeders Cup races were held but the crowd was limited to horses, trainers, owners, and stable employees.
This year it will be full on FANtastic. They should bugle the "Call to the Post" just for the fans alone in a statement ~ We are back and we are ready to run with the horses~ minus stilettos.
The Breeders Cup will be November 4-5 at the historical Keeneland Race Course again.
Lexington will be rolling out the red carpet and will be all abuzz with horse people from around the world. A joyous occasion to behold just for the fashion parade alone. I know it is for me ...
The show of people, the foo-foo, the etiquette, the culture, the fragrance of the cedar shavings, straw, leather saddle soap, and Hoof Flex or Valentines Hoof Ointment all bring back memories. Nothing soothes the soul more than early mornings in a horse barn. Get there before sunrise as we start at 0400 depending on schedules of horses and trainers daily.
Tickets are a hot commodity but still might be available in general admission at Keeneland Race Course.
